Carrying forward Peter Sinclair’s legacy at beatBread

No one can truly replace Peter Sinclair.

I’m honored to step into the role of Interim CEO and to help carry forward the vision of our late co-founder and CEO. Peter built beatBread on a simple but powerful belief: that independent artists deserve access to the same financial tools as major-label acts without giving up control, ownership, or their creative future.

I was fortunate enough to meet Peter in real life on a number of occasions and the strong impression he left on me was that he was a force of nature building a remarkable company with some incredible people.

What I can do is work every day to uphold the values he founded beatBread upon — transparency, independence, and an unwavering belief in artists.

That mission is, and will remain, the foundation of everything we do.

I’ve admired Peter’s clarity of purpose since the day he launched beatBread. He championed transparency, fairness, and artist empowerment long before these ideas became industry talking points. His vision shaped not only this company but also an emerging movement across the music ecosystem toward more equitable models for creators.

As I step into this role, my priority is to support beatBread’s team, partners, and artists while ensuring Peter’s principles remain at the heart of every decision we make. I’m committed to advancing the company’s momentum, strengthening its operations, and helping guide a smooth transition as the board conducts a global search for our next permanent CEO.

Peter leaves an extraordinary legacy, and it’s a privilege to help steward what he built. I’m excited to work alongside a team dedicated to expanding financial freedom and creative independence for artists everywhere.
