How to spot (and avoid) scammers posing as beatBread
At beatBread, we’re proud to partner with thousands of independent artists, managers, and labels around the world. As we continue to grow, we want to make sure you have the tools to protect yourself from potential scams or impersonators.
While rare, bad actors sometimes pose as companies like ours. Here’s how to stay a step ahead:
What You Can Expect From the Real beatBread
We only reach out through:
- Emails ending in @beatbread.com
- Our official website: www.beatbread.com
- Verified social accounts (e.g. @beatbread)
We will never:
- Request money through Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or other peer-to-peer platforms
- Communicate only via DMs, WhatsApp, or Telegram
- Pressure you to act fast or sign before you're ready
How to Spot a Potential Scam
Keep an eye out for:
- Unverified accounts offering “exclusive beatBread deals”
- Messages with poor grammar or unusual urgency
- Requests for personal login info, bank details, or payment
- Documents or contracts that seem off or unprofessional
When in Doubt, Reach Out
Not sure if a message is legit? We’re happy to confirm. Email us at hello@beatbread.com and we’ll take a look.
The bottom line: if something feels off, trust your gut. We’re here to help artists grow—not rush, confuse, or mislead you. Staying informed is one of the best ways to stay protected.
Thanks for being part of the beatBread community.
