How Madison Rose used beatBread to “cut against the grain” in the music industry

Madison Rose is a “rainbow girl against a storm cloud world” but needed a way to fund her music career without giving up what was most important: her individuality.

“People try to put you into a box of what they think you should be doing,” Madison Rose said. “When you make a decision to cut against the grain, you have to find tools to support yourself because most people aren’t going to get it. So you're like, 'Okay, well if you're not going to get it, I get it. I have to keep going. How do I keep going?'"

"With the red tape of (the music industry), there's a lot of think pieces on like how you should continue as an artist. I'm like 'Well, clearly I might know what I'm doing, so can you just, like give me some money so I can keep going?' That's why I think beatBread is so amazing and made it so that I could put out the deluxe version of my album."
